The riverside development at Charter Quay houses a number of upmarket chain restaurants such as Browns and Carluccios. Jamie’s Italian is nearby in the High Street – mixed reviews!

The Rose Theatre is the jewel in Kingston’s entertainment crown; a lovely intimate auditorium and if you’re lucky the performance may match the quality of the surroundings.

Live music can be heard most nights at the Grey Horse who host rock, blues, jazz bands and folk singers.
